Every juice we make starts with a reason. Bloom Blend's reason is one of the most personal ones I have.
If you're trying to conceive, or you're in the middle of IVF, you already know how much of it feels out of your hands. The appointments, the waiting, the two-week wait. So when women ask me if there's anything they can do for themselves along the way, I want to give them something real. Not a trend. Not a sugar bomb in a pretty bottle. Something with research behind it, made with care, that they can drink every single day.
That's Bloom Blend.
Made with a Fertility Team, Not Just for One
Bloom Blend was created in partnership with Dr. Aisling Lanigan, ND, and the naturopathic team at Flourish, who work inside Twig Fertility here in Toronto. Every recipe was reviewed and approved by Flourish, and it's the juice they recommend to their patients.
That matters to me. I'm a Certified Holistic Nutritionist, and I build every juice around what the body actually needs. But fertility is its own world, and I wanted the people who walk alongside women through it every day to be part of this.
What the Research Says
In 2023, a team of fertility researchers published a study in JBRA Assisted Reproduction looking at 436 women going through IVF (specifically ICSI, a common type of IVF).
Some of the women drank a fresh, homemade juice of beetroot, watermelon and ginger once a day, from the day of their embryo transfer until their pregnancy test. The others didn't.
Here's what they found:
- Clinical pregnancy rate: 41% in the juice group, compared with 22% in the group that didn't drink it.
- Implantation rate: 25.2% compared with 20.5%.
- Side effects: none reported.
The researchers called it "a promising strategy for improving clinical outcomes."
I want to be honest with you about what that means. This is one study. A juice isn't a fertility treatment, and it doesn't replace anything your fertility team is doing. But it's a simple, nourishing, whole-food habit with real research behind it, and that's exactly the kind of thing I believe in.
Why These Three Ingredients
Bloom Blend is just three organic ingredients. Nothing added, nothing extra. Each one is in the bottle for a reason.
Beets. Beets are naturally rich in nitrates, which your body turns into nitric oxide, a molecule that helps blood vessels relax and supports healthy blood flow. Good circulation is something every fertility practitioner talks about.
Watermelon. Deeply hydrating, and full of natural antioxidants like lycopene, plus citrulline, an amino acid that also supports blood flow. It works hand in hand with the beets.
Ginger. Warming, grounding and great for digestion. It's the small bit of heat that brings the whole blend together, and many women love it for settling a queasy stomach.
That's it. I don't believe in serving sugar dressed up as health. I want to serve health.
Why We Make It Fresh, Every Day
Bloom Blend is cold pressed in Toronto and never HPP'd. HPP (high pressure processing) gives juice weeks of shelf life, but it changes the integrity of what's in the bottle, so we don't do it.
That means Bloom Blend only lasts 4 days. So we deliver daily across the GTA, and you never drink an old bottle. It's also why it's a small 8oz bottle: one a day, fresh, every day.
A Story I'll Never Forget
I've watched friends drink Bloom Blend on their own journeys. One of them is a very close friend of mine who had been trying for 8 years. She drank it every day. And she conceived.
I know that isn't everyone's story. No juice can promise that, and I would never pretend it can. But I saw it happen with someone I love, and it's why this little bottle means so much to me.
How to Drink Bloom Blend
- One bottle a day, every day. Consistency is what the research looked at.
- Through your cycle or treatment. The study had women drink it from embryo transfer to pregnancy test. Flourish recommends it throughout your journey.
- Cold, straight from the bottle. Keep it in the fridge and drink it within 4 days.
- Keep your fertility team in the loop. Always check with them about what's right for you.
Many of the women we work with keep drinking Bloom Blend after a positive test, with their care team's okay. Because our juice is raw and never HPP'd, that's a conversation to have with your doctor or midwife.
You Don't Have to Do This Alone
Trying to conceive can feel lonely. If you want to talk it through, pop into the shop on Manor Road in Leaside or downtown at Waterworks Food Hall. We'd love to meet you.
Order Bloom Blend here, delivered fresh across the GTA.
With love and minerals, Nadia 💚
